What do I need to sell at MRSCA?

To sell metal at Metal Recycling Services CA (MRSCA), you’ll need to bring a valid government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license or state ID).

We require identification to verify sellers and comply with California state recycling laws.

Is there a payment hold?

Yes. In compliance with California state law, Metal Recycling Services CA (MRSCA) may place a payment hold on certain transactions — typically for non-ferrous metals (such as copper, brass, and aluminum).

The standard hold period is 3 business days from the date of sale. This requirement helps prevent metal theft and ensures proper verification of materials.

After the hold period, payments are released according to your chosen payment method (e.g., check, cash, or electronic payment, depending on regulations).

What are your business hours?

We are open from Monday to Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm

On Saturdays we are open from 7:00 am-1:00 pm

What materials do you buy?

We buy all Non-Ferrous scrap metals which include: Copper, Brass, Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Wire, Aluminum Wire, Lead .

What is today's pricing on my material?

Prices vary depending on the performance of the market. You can get in contact with us or sign up for our daily pricing list. All prices are based off of clean material. Feel free to request a quote for material you may have.

Do you buy catalytic converters?

At this time we do not purchase catalytic converters. We do purchase automotive breakage for example: Scrap Engines, Brake Rotors, AC compressors, harness wiring.

Is there a weight minimum to sell?

At this time there is no weight minimum in order to sell.
